Betting deposit methods in Ghana begin with mobile money, because that is where most cedis sit. BetWinner, 1xBet and BC.Game take MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash and AT Money; the ranking of betting sites in Ghana marks which accounts are held in cedis. 22Bet’s rules name cards, bank accounts and Bitcoin but no mobile money route, so its row carries no cedi wallet. Melbet’s terms mention cards but print no route, limit or network, so the list keeps to cashiers that name a route; Melbet’s cashier shows them after login. Bank transfer as a betting deposit method
Bank transfer suits sums a MoMo cap would split. 1xBet prints Bank Transfer by Paystack from GH₵10 and bank withdrawals from GH₵7, both on the withdrawal tab only. 22Bet names bank accounts in your own name among its withdrawal methods. The account must carry the name on your betting account and Ghana Card. Whatever the route, the sum approved is the sum paid: the betting tax on winnings ended on 2 April 2025. Visa and Mastercard as a betting deposit method
Stake takes Visa and Mastercard in cedis from GH₵30 and pays winnings back only to the deposit card, with up to 3 business days for the bank. 22Bet lists cards among its methods, and BetWinner takes cards for deposits only, priced in euros.
Crypto as a betting deposit method
Crypto replaces the wallet and the PIN with a coin and a network. BetWinner and 1xBet list crypto beside MoMo in a cedi account, while BitStarz, BetFury and Cloudbet hold no cedi balance. Send coins only on the network the cashier names.

What is the most used betting deposit method in Ghana?
Mobile money is the method the cedi sites build their cashiers around. MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash and AT Money are the wallets punters already hold, and the deposit is a prompt approved with a PIN. The bookmakers that pay winnings back to the same wallet are the ones worth choosing.
Can I deposit with a bank card at a betting site in Ghana?
At Stake, yes, in cedis from GH₵30 with Visa or Mastercard, and winnings go back to the same card. 22Bet lists cards among its methods, and BetWinner takes card deposits priced in euros but pays out by another route. MoMo is the quicker route where the site names it.
Can I withdraw to a different method than I deposited with?
Usually not. 22Bet and Melbet say winnings go back through the method the deposit came from; Linebet adds that it is in proportion if you used several. Stake pays cedi withdrawals only to the deposit card. A card deposit at BetWinner has no card withdrawal, so another route in your own name is needed.
Can I pay with crypto and still hold cedis?
At BetWinner and 1xBet, yes: both list crypto networks beside MoMo in a cedi account. Stake holds a cedi balance for card deposits next to its coin wallets. BitStarz, BetFury and Cloudbet hold no cedi balance, so a deposit there stays in coins until you exchange them yourself.
