Guides by what you need
Betting site guides for Ghana: by payment method and product
The ranking of betting sites in Ghana answers one question: which bookmaker, overall. The guides on this page answer the narrower ones a punter actually types into a phone. Which sites take Telecel Cash. Which casino holds a Gaming Commission entry for the casino product. Which operator streams the match you want to bet on. Each guide is a list built from the same data as the ranking, cut down to the sites that meet one condition. It shows the columns that matter for that condition and nothing else.

Guides by payment method: MoMo, bank, card and crypto
The payment guides come first because that is where most trouble starts. The deposit methods page sets MoMo, bank transfer, cards and crypto side by side. It shows which bookmaker names which route on a page you can read before you register. Under it sits the mobile money overview, which covers the prompt and PIN step every network shares. Then comes one page for each wallet. MTN MoMo has the *170# menus and the agent cash-out fees 3News reported in February 2024 for 1 March 2024. Telecel Cash has the Vodafone line some cashiers still print. AT Money sits under the AirtelTigo name the cashiers use.
All three wallet pages carry the Bank of Ghana wallet tiers. A payout that would push a wallet past its balance cap can be refused by the network, and no cashier figure warns you. The ranking of betting sites in Ghana marks each account by how it is funded; the payment guides say what the funding costs and where it stops.
Guides by product: casinos and live streaming
The online casinos in Ghana page lists every site in the ranking with a casino. It marks which of them hold an Online Casino entry on the Gaming Commission register, as distinct from a sports entry. It also works through crash games and the wagering behind a casino package. The live streaming betting sites page lists the operators whose own pages state that they stream. It covers the condition for watching, the rights that decide the schedule and the data a stream takes from a bundle.
Three rules every guide follows
- The order inside a list is the order of the ranking, which is editorial and commercial. A list never claims that its first row is the best for that need. The score beside each name is the editorial mark, and the ranking can be sorted by it.
- A site appears on a list only when its own public pages show it meets the condition. A site whose public pages name no mobile money route is left off the MoMo lists, and each page says so.
- A bookmaker without a Gaming Commission licence is marked as such wherever it appears, on the lists as on the ranking.
The shorter guides, the mobile money pages among them, end with the sites from the ranking that did not qualify, named as what they are. The longer guides name them in the text. Those rows link to their reviews rather than to the operators, so a page about Telecel Cash does not send you to a casino that takes only Bitcoin. The reviews themselves, one per bookmaker, are indexed on the reviews page. The blog carries the longer explainers, starting with the betting tax in Ghana and what its repeal changed for a payout.
FAQ
Betting site guides: questions and answers
Why a bookmaker sits on the ranking but not on a guide, and where a first-time punter should start.
Why is a bookmaker on the ranking but not on a guide?
A guide lists a site only when the operator’s public pages show that it meets the page’s condition. 22Bet and Melbet, for example, hold cedi accounts but name no mobile money route before login. They are therefore not on the MoMo lists, and each page says why.
Is the first site on a guide the best for that need?
No. The order is the ranking order, which is editorial and commercial. The score beside each name is the editorial mark; compare the scores, then open the review.
Which guide should a first-time punter open?
The mobile money overview, then the page for your own network. Together they cover the prompt and PIN step, the limits the bookmakers print and the wallet tiers the Bank of Ghana sets.
